The Frontier Design AlphaTrack is supported in native mode.

--- track selection ---

TRACK <        : to previous mixer section.
SHIFT TRACK <  : to first section.
TRACK >        : to next mixer section.
SHIFT TRACK >  : to last section.

The left rotaty knob can also be used for track selection.


--- track control ---

FADER          : volume
REC            : toggle track Play and Rec buttons
SHIFT MUTE     : fader silent
"Write" LED    : indicates "fader silent"
MUTE           : mute mixer section
SOLO           : solo mixer section 
SHIFT SOLO     : clear solo
ANY SOLO       : lights up if a mixer section is soloed.
SHIFT AUTO     : open/close editor
F4             : editor Undo (for undoing punch-in recordings).
SHIFT F4       : Redo

Middle rotary knob : edit current parameter (pan knob etc.).

  Available parameters:

  PAN     = Pan
  SEND    = Effect Send 1
  EQ      = Effect Send 2
  PLUG-IN = Effect Send 3
  AUTO    = Output Selector

Right rotary knob : controls the knob under the mouse.


--- punch-in recording ---

F1             : Set current track's punch-in point
                 (make it equal to current transport position)
SHIFT F1       : move to punch-in point
F2             : Set current track's punch-out point
                 (make it equal to current transport position)
SHIFT F2       : move to punch-out point
F3             : toggle punch in/out recording
SHIFT right rotary knob : zoom in/out


--- alternate takes ---

SHIFT F3       : alternate take
                (invokes the Alternate Take option from the Recording menu)


--- markers ---

SHIFT middle rotary knob : to previous/next marker
FLIP           : add marker
SHIFT FLIP     : delete marker


--- transport ---

<<             : Rewind
SHIFT <<       : Home
>>             : Fast Forward
SHIFT >>       : to End
STOP           : Stop
SHIFT STOP     : to last start position ("ALT - cursor left")
PLAY           : Play
SHIFT PLAY     : to next start position ("ALT - cursor right")
LOOP           : turn Loop on/off
STRIP 1 FINGER TOUCH : move position in the direction the finger moves.
STRIP 2 FINGER TOUCH : wind left or right. Slow in the middle, fast on the edges.

REC            : "What Is?", Push another button while keeping this one down
                  to see the button's function on the display for one second.
REC LED        :  The LED lights if one or more tracks are armed for recording
                  (ie. its Rec button is red).


--- message dialogs ---

STOP           : 'Cancel' or 'No'
PLAY           : 'OK' or 'Yes'
<<             : Show previous two lines of message
SHIFT <<       : to first lines
>>             : Show next two lines of message
SHIFT >>       : to last lines


--- new file properties dialogs ---

STOP / PLAY    : 'OK'
Middle rotary knob : Quality (16 or 24 bits etc.)
Left rotary knob   : Channels (mono or stereo)


--- display ---

Top left       : track name
Top right, if touch strip is touched : transport position indicator
                 (in seconds or bars, follows MultitrackStudio setting)
Bottom left    : name of current parameter.
Bottom right   : parameter value (pan position etc.)


--- instruments / effects ---

to open:
SHIFT PAN      : open first slot
SHIFT SEND     : open second slot
SHIFT EQ       : open third slot
SHIFT PLUG-IN  : press this before presing SHIFT PAN etc. to open the unified instrument or effect selector

once opened:
Left rotary knob   : select current parameter
Middle rotary knob : parameter value
PLUG-IN        : close
AUTO           : bypass

Right rotary knob : controls the knob under the mouse.
