The Electric Piano is a software version of three classic electric pianos.

Instrument
The Instrument section offers a choice of three different electric pianos:
  1. Electromagnetic Piano: This piano spans six octaves ranging from E2 (note 28) to E8 (note 100).
  2. Electrostatic Piano: This piano spans over five octaves ranging from A2 (note 33) to C8 (note 96).
  3. Sticky Hammers: This piano doesn't have real hammers, but sticky pads that pull the tine up and release it at a certain point. It has very little dynamics. It spans five octaves ranging from F2 (note 29) to F7 (note 89).
Controls
Dynamics controls the velocity curve, ie. it controls how sensitive the piano is to key pressure. Strength controls how hard the piano is played. It adds a value to a note's velocity. Bass and Treble are tone controls, as found on amplifiers or even some electric pianos.
Effects

The Effects section contains three effect slots. Effects like Tremolo, Phaser and Chorus are often used with electric piano's.

MIDI Implementation

The Electric Piano responds to Volume (#7), Expression (#11) and Sustain (#64) controllers. Sustain also works for the Sticky Hammers piano, even though it doesn't have a sustain pedal in reality. Pitch Bend is supported. The rotary knobs can be controller with #71 (Dynamics), #72 (Strength), #73 (Bass) and #74 (Treble).
