Steady My input (Score entry)

Post by uncle808us »

Are there any tips for steadying my step input in the score editor?
Seems like I am always moving the entry after I touch then release. Even when using the handles.
I wish it wasn't so quick on the trigger.
It would be nice if the vertical handles had a step (semitone) choice. Then I would not have to go to the edit button all the time.
Also it would be nice to be able to hear the edited note change before applying. In the edit box.

Does it move horizontally (left-right) or vertically? You can zoom in in both directions, this should make it easier.

Something like that is on the todo list.

It's the vertical movement that I am always messing up. I would zoom but then the Grand Staff takes up way too much screen iPad Mini 2.
I'm happy this is on the to do list. Thanks for the answers.

The score editor on iPad has a very ugly zoom. Huge staves small notes.

That's as-designed. If the notes would get larger the staff would be too crowded horizontally. Either notes would overlap, or there'd be no room for even a single bar.
