Help with SB live keyboard

Trying to record the SB live keyboard.I get sound but cannot get a level when recording.Is there some set up needed?

Don't overlook the fact that the soundcard's mixer applet when first opened shows the PLAYBACK mixer. You have to find the RECORD mixer or RECORD properties in order to select the Recording input to the soundcard, in the case of the software keyboard, which may be firing sounfonts of the Creative Softwre synth, that would output on the WAV buss, making multitrack audio recording a bit difficult since it would record any other previously recorded tracks onto the new audio track. May want to try recording as MIDI tracks first, then you could assign the MIDI synth to those tracks at playback and avoid this problem.

Perhaps you are meaning something other than the picture of a keyboard that comes with the liveware, Creative made some hardware keyboards, for instance, if so, tell us more.

I reinstalled both programs and it is working fine now.
