Hi Mr Bremmers
Thanks again for my favorite iOS and Windows DAW!
And thanks for latest update.
My question is: what ppqn is built into MTS (iOS and/or Windows)?
Midi resolution question
Re: Midi resolution question
Internally there is no ppqn, it's all done at the audio sampling rate.
The data is saved to 480ppqn MIDI files, so it gets quantized to 480ppqn.
The Windows/macOS versions let you save to SMPTE MIDI files instead, there's a setting in the Preferences window. That's better from a resolution point of view, but some notation programs can't read these files. IIRC correctly SMPTE used to be the default setting, but this was changed to reduce the number of support incidents
