Ableton Link for iOS

Sounds and looks really good and an easy solution for syncing multiple devices and multiple apps on the same device.
no midi clock settings to worry about, and can start stop any app at any time, so recording can be more flexible and in the moment.

Any idea whether this could potentially be incorporated into MTS?

:)

Frankly, I have no idea ;-)

It's not on my radar at this point.

Hi Giel,

I've been playing a lot with apps and Link. Lots of fun and great workflow to not have to set up clock sync every session. Also recording apps is much better than clock sync since you can stop individual apps at any time.

I hope MTS gets the Link SDK, would be a great feature.

:)

Link is going to be a big help to iOS musicians, sidestepping the myriad midi clock issues in iOS.

I've requested access to the SDK. Don't have it yet, the masters-of-sync appear to have a surprisingly high latency

Note that this doesn't mean MTS will get link. AS of yet I have no idea what it would take to do that.

:D (masters of sync with high latency)
Mr Bremmers, I'm glad you have kept your sense of humor, after having to deal with us on the IOS side...
That's why I'm glad I've got MTS on Surface Pro too...sometimes iOS isn't too funny...

Ha, yes we're very needy on iOS platform ;)

Great that you're looking into it.... fingers crossed it can be implemented into MTS
