I wish we could have a real metronome like other apps and DAWS.

On one hand, I get why. It is nice to have that immediacy.

But on the other hand, MTS does allow you to build a click track in just a few taps.

A metronome is just a hidden function that plays essentially the same role, but hidden. With this, you can SEE the metronome, adjust its level & pan, you can make it do things that a stupid metronome can't.

I guess one thing you could do is set up your "starting project" to have everything just as you would want it, so you aren't having to build that click track every time start a project. That's easily done, too.
