Weighted keys

I just downloaded MultitrackStudio for Windows to work with my digital keyboard (Korg LP-380) but I'm not sure whether it's possible or not to record weighted keys with different volume.
Of course that's possible. You can easily check this yourself: just record a soft and a loud note.
As far as recording is concerned it makes no difference whether the keys are weighted or not by the way.
