MIDI Import Change with 8.3?

With previous version, I was importing MIDI files into MTS and it would automagically break it up into individual tracks. Now, with 8.3, I cannot seem to do that anymore. With 8.3, it creates a single track only.
Did I miss something?
Any input is welcome.

It may have been a default setting or something, but I got it to work by splitting the stream from the imported audio track. Forgive me if my memory is going bad, but I don't remember manually applying the step to split the stream. I could be wrong though.

I don't think anything changed, this always had to be done manually.
