Guitar Amp plugin and Red Wire IR problem...

Hi,

I have a problem with the Guitar Amp plugin and my loudspeaker Red Wire impulse response files .

The recording goes very well with the Guitar Amp and the file Red Wire 44Hz 24bits.
I stay at the maximum at -18db for the recording. The problem occurs after the recording, when the
Reading my guitar track, it saturates and clip in the red because of the impulse file ???

I do not understand why because recording is perfect with IR, I do not clip and does not exceed -18db.

If I take an IR provided with MTS, there I have no problem?

Can I bypass the IR and microphone in the Guitar Amp plugin and use the Convolutor plugin to load the Red Wire IR?

An idea of the problem?

Sorry for my bad English…

Thierry

Please send a copy of that IR file to support@multitrackstudio.com and I'll have a look at it.

I've just found and fixed it. The IRs that don't work right are very short (under approximately 0.1 seconds).

Yes. The plan is to release a bugfix release in a couple of weeks. The main focus will be VST/AU issues.
