Midi Pattern Editor?

I am about to embark on a study of the midi pattern editor Ver8.3 and before I do I have a question is there a way the pattern will follow a chord progression? Follow a chord track? Thank you.
MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 15 in. OS X 10.11.6,

It doesn't do that. You can transpose each instance of the pattern,
