Computer interface used by both recording artists on this production was Presonus AudioBox iTwo 24 bit AD stereo digital interface. Recording was done to a total of ten tracks (including a 102 BPM CLICK TRACK). Dave Laroquette (Independence, La.) on live digital drum set, electric bass, lead vocal, and 6-string acoustic (Cole Clark) lead and rhythm guitar. Ken Hardy (Jackson, M.S.) on 12-string (Takamine) electric acoustic lead, solo and rhythm guitars, harmony vocals (3) and MTS recording, effects and final mixdown. KH vocals and instrumentation recorded direct to MTS for iPad (iPad Pro) via APOGEE USB MiC and Presonus AudioBox. DL vocal and instrument tracks recorded via Mac-based Digital Performer software, then dropboxed to KH as .aiff files, downloaded into AudioShare and audiocopied one-by-one into MTS for iPad for final mixdown and uploading to SoundCloud. Vocal effects included MTS multiband compression, vocal tuner, and reverb. Instrument effects included MTS Compression, Limiter, and stereo imager. Final extended vocal note in song is in perfect vocal tuner four part-harmony. Approximately 50 hours of audio recording and track editing involved in bringing this one musical project to completion.
