OM Guitar as midi input

Hi guys, anyone have experience using OMGuitar with MTS and what best settings should be? When I try to record anything I'm lucky to pick up half the notes. As a relative newbie I'm but stumped about what correct midi settings should be. Tried a few different ones but with no real success. I'm wondering if they are compatible. P. S. Tried with Audiobus 2 too.
