Drum Quantizing Help

Hello! I'm a drummer, and have started to use MTS to edit midi drum parts that I create on my KAT Percussion electronic kit.
I have been experimenting to figure out a natural sounding method of quantization. My theory is that the kick drum sounds correct hard quantized, 100% on the grid. However, I would like the option to correct other timing (snare, toms, and cymbals) more subtly.
I realize that MTS allows you to set the resolution from 5% to 100%, and should move the notes closer to the grid incrementally based on that option. I am finding that no matter what percentage I select, MTS is appears to put the notes exactly on the grid. Am I missing something? It seems that selecting 30% would just move the notes 30% closer to grid, correct?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best,
Mark
