Copying Effects
Effects can be copied by dragging an effect slot to another slot while keeping the Ctrl key down. All the effect's setting will be copied as well.

Tip of the week 11: Copying effects
i found out early on that MTS responds to Windows Explorer conventions such as this one in a lot more places than most other recording/sequencing apps and I love that.
Not only the Ctrl- convention but also try the Shift- convention for selecting in rows, too. highlight the first instance, hold down Shift key and highlight the last instance and everything else in between highlights.
To remove one from the middle of that, hold down Ctrl- and click just that one.
Or, use Ctrl- to select any number in any order.
Not talking effects cloning here, though.
