Very Good Free VST plugins worth your time...

Post by Saz »

Finally found some time to clean out the ole(too big) VST folder this morning and felt these gems were worth a mention here...

Bootsy's plugins (Rescue, Density, TesslaSE, NastyLF and BootEQ)

TAL Chorus-60 (my current favorite chorus)

TAL-Tube (nice warmth on just the default 1st preset)

DtBlkFx 1.1 (just getting started with this super sound shaper)

Thanks for the heads-up on the STS-33!

I had tried an earlier version and for some reason didn't keep it.

This one is a keeper.

You're welcome. If you can find it, you may want to check out STS-26. It's very similar to STS-33 but I think it has some features that they left out of 33... of course they did add some new features in 33, so it's basically a toss up of which one is better, if you ask me. I cant remember for sure, but I think the ability to specify the pitch of each tone was removed in 33, and the autopanning was a bit deeper. But I don't know.

In a way, LaserBlade, and the STS versions are all the same synth in just subtlely different incarnations. But I digress...
