nother newbie? repeat--cut paste etc..

when I try to repeat or cut and paste part of a track I just can't seem to get the transition smooth from one section to the other...anyone have tips from experience..it is getting better but still far from acceptable...thanks

Recording to a Click Track really helps define the bar positions and such.

I don't know of a any good way to add a click after you've recorded a few tracks without one, though, click track using midi metronome should be invoked from the beginning.

Then you can use the grid as defined by the BPM in the project.

I would do what Mac said but when copy & Pasting I would also use the snap mode to ensure the copied parts line up to the grid correctly ..
