any tips about using a outside wave editor?

Post by Grajnd »

Hello!

Im wondering if there is any solution, how to use Wavelab with MTS? i would love to just double-click on a track from MTS and Wavelab opens the track and i can ,for example, remove unwanted noise (or anything else) and save the file and go back to MTS and there the new edited version of the file is.

why? you maybe ask.. because, i know there is unlimited undo when you edit a file in MTS pro, but i dont like having 10 .edit files that to me are "only fillers".. thats why i would like to have the possibility of using a outside editor. or i guess i would like to use MTS in a destructive way.

I only ask this, cuz i used Cubasis before MTS and it was very easy to overwrite audio within the program.

anyhow, thanks! Rolf

I do not know of a way internally, I just do an export of the track and open it in My editor and then reopen it in MTS, or i do the edit in MTS if it is a little thing like taking out a cough or a loud noise in between vocals.
