Trying to organize :)

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to organize the VST folder so that I can keep my Synths and effects separate? I would love to be able to make a "favorites" folder to keep the synths and effects I use most often in. Any suggestions are welcome

As far as I know, MTS will only list VST and VSTi's in the same window. Everything in the VST folder you point MTS to, will show up in that window.

The best workaround is to just get rid of the plugins you never use. Easier said than done.

The way I understand it, this is something that all VSTs share and can't be changed around. Steinberg is the inventor and VSTs all go into the same folder, often called "steinberg" but not necessarily.

DX effects can be installed anywhere and any DX host can find them anywhere because they write into the registry.
