The drum editor with customizable lanes (notes or even names) is great in principle,
but I noticed that if a "lane" has no actual MIDI notes in the track then
it disappears when you just close the editor panel and reopen it.
The same happens if you switch to piano view from drum view and back again.
This makes quite unconfortable to work, especially when using names since they are frequently lost
during changes to the drum track and may be inserted again everytime.
Is it a known bug ?

Re: issue with drum editor
It's a known feature. The notes are read from the MIDI file, and the lanes that actually contain notes are shown automatically. I will add it to the list of things to consider.

Thanks for reconsidering it. I agree sometimes the current way could be useful or even forced
(e.g. when building the track by initially loading a MIDI file the first time)
but then the user should be able to define the required lanes in a stable way.
