Overriding drum instrument names...

Post by Lytz1 »

Can't get it to work.
Tried saving as UTF-8, then as UTF-16. (But shouldn't matter I guess?)

My syntax is as follows, done with TextEdit on OSX and saved
in the components folder where the plugin Eph.component is.
(Filename: Eph_MtStudio.txt)
[drum]
36=Eph01
37=Eph02
38=Eph03
39=Eph04
40=Eph05
41=Eph06
42=Eph07
43=Eph08
44=Eph09
45=Eph10
46=Eph11
47=Eph12
any error here?

Thanks,
tL.

Lol. Okay, looks like I found another MTS vs. AudioUnit failure...

Copied the file into the VST folder, works there...
(What is going on between AU and MTS?)

Best,

This feature is described in the manual's VSTi chapter. So it's not supposed to work with AU.

Ah okay, thanks. Good to know. Maybe it would be a good idea to point out in the manual that this is
a VST only feature. Usually I would expect no difference in handling
between VST and AU on Mac.
