It happens when the plugin UI is removed from memory. I think this will crash:

1. load an instance of Nuance
2. click the instrument slot to display the plugin UI, then hide it again
3. replace Nuance with any other MIDI instrument

I got some arkward crashes with McDSP. They load fine but MTS crashes as soon as I start playback.
It seems to affect all (!!) McDSP plugins. That's quite a lot.
I don't want to go through all of them, but the crash seems to be consistent. Crash reports sent.

(These were AU only for quite a long time - besides RTAS for Pro Tools - so I have only the AU versions.
They are now also available as VST, but I would need to pay a fee for the whole bundle
to crossgrade and I don't see why I should do that.)
