I don't think so.

Are you asking for a specific reason? Every plugin with a VST3 version also has VST2, and I've yet to find a compelling reason to choose VST3 (when VST2 works just fine).

i don't think I fully understood the purpose of the vst3, or the diff between 2 and 3, but ive read a little more now
but yes, ive found a couple that did not have a vst2 in the download.
slm128 loudness meter was one
oldskoolverb was another

thanks for the reply

Oldskoolverb is from Voxengo, and all of their plugins are offered as VST2 and VST3.

Their name and download links are labeled "VST_VST3".... The "VST" option is actually VST2.

You are correct about the slm loudness meter plugin. That is made by Steinberg, and they're moving all of their plugins to VST3.
