When you create MIDI song in MTS (or any other MIDI software), how should I say, it's too perfect, it doesn't sound like real recording in studio, because in studio it's different process, using mic's for recording instruments and vocals. You can hear difference, because in live studio, sound of instruments is not perfectly sampled.
For example, if you record jazz ensemble, you have mic's positioned so that you record whole ensemble, not just individual instruments.
I don't know if I explained it well.
Does it exist VST effect to make song like real recording?
VST effect for making song like real recording
Re: VST effect for making song like real recording
If you record each instrument separately then you can use EQ and Panning to create a space. Multiband Compression can also be used for that.
Volume control is a much neglected parameter, if you turn the volume down it sounds further away. You have to then compensate for lost frequencies with EQ.

Try the Lurrsen Mastering vst from IK Multimedia. You get instant pro results, at a price though.
