How can I make the score bigger vertically?

I have a hard time seeing what I am doing in the score editor.
How can I make the score bigger vertically?

You can scale the whole user interface using the Preferences window.

From the manual:
Trackpad gestures
Trackpad gestures can be used in various places.
Two finger swipe:
l Move faders and rotary knobs. l Scroll lists.
l Scroll editors horizontally.
l Scroll MIDI editors vertically.
Pinch:
l Zoom editors horizontally.
l While pointer is over left hand side of editor: zoom editor vertically.
This was confusing me.
