Likes and dislikes in MTS 9

Post by moxol »

I have tried MTS 9, and so far I can say>

LIKE:
1. Content panes - nice and usefull.
2. VST 3 and VST 2 fixes
3. Cycle button
4. Rewind/Fast Forward now try to move to 'nice' position if counter is showing bar:beat.
5. "Revert to Version" menu didn't always list versions in chronological order.

DISLIKE:
1. Small volume indicator, LED lights were nicer
2. Multi Instrument - I couldn't set up to work

I had suggestions that you have implemented, and I thank you.
There were other suggestions that you didn't implemented, which I find usefull, but hopefully they will get implemented in future versions.
MTS is great product, keep up the good work.

I quickly tried it, but I don't hear two MTS instruments playing together.

By default it's set up for using one at a time using the Articulations controller.

You need to click the Controller box and choose 'None' if you want all synths to play simultaneously.

Thanks, now it works.
It's a nice feature.

I suggested you once to implement multi recording of MIDI tracks, is that possible?
Multi instrument is substitution for that, but that would be nice feature also.

I would suggest to place the "None (Layered)" entry as automatically selected by default in the menu
instead of controller 89, or have a user option in the Preferences to choose.
The reason is that you need to scroll up the menu to discover the None entry.

Another list sorting case: it would be helpful to sort the actions by name inside the Remote Control > Details list.
