I no longer see the QWERTY letters in the keyboard is this a bug?

It works like it used to in macOS 10.14, but the letters are missing in older macOS versions.

MultitrackStudio needs to find out the keyboard layout, so it can show the right letters for all international layouts. There are several ways to do this, and none of them seem to work for 64 bits programs in older macOS versions.

I hoped nobody would notice...

Will there be a fix? I really hope so as I use this often or are we older 64 bit user out of luck?

I'll see what I can do.

Note that the MIDI keyboard does work, it's just the shortcuts aren't visible. And you can use the mouse of course.

I notice this is missing in the chords as well as the virtual keyboard. Do you think this can be fixed?
Thanks OSX El Capitan Ver 10.11.6
