Double Click on mysong.hdr doesn't work on USB drives

Post by jawidge »

I have so many projects I had to move them to a larger drive using a USB drive docking station.
Dbl clicking on a project .hdr on the C drive works fine. Dlb Clicking on the project .hdr file on the usb drive only opens the DAW to a blank project.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled MTStudio but no change.
Not a high priority, but does take extra time.
Thanks,
George

Looks like something in the properties of the file changed like the read only.

Windows is supposed to pass a quoted version of the file name to MultititrackStudio. The quotes are there so the program knows it's a single file name, even if it contains spaces.

However, Windows fails to add the quotes for some disks. I've seen that myself with a certain harddisk. Very strange.
