When I go to mix down a track even though the song is 16 seconds long the mix down number always has a different number at the end. something odd like 00:15:938 or something so I have to type in the value. why doesn't it read out 00:00:16:000 the song editor shows bars 1-8 at 120 bpm +16 sec. the hours min secs reads 00:00:16 but the mix down never reads 00:00:16.000.
can this be explained?

Re: Mix down question
It happen again this time it wants to mix down from 00:00:00.000 to 00:00:16:567 but the mixed down wave file claims the time is 16 sec. This is perplexing??? Is it a Bug? Hummm.
Re: Mix down question
The end time is calculated from the track lengths, and it takes into account things like reverb tail lengths (of effects) / release times (of instruments).

Re: Mix down question
I understand but the song section will be 16 seconds long. Correct I need it to fit in a video and it needs to be 16 seconds exactly.
Do I have to type the 16 in to assure that?
Thanks

Re: Mix down question
If you want the file to be 16 seconds you have to set the 'End' value. If you need to do this often you can add a marker at 16 seconds. Then you can pick this marker from a list, so you don't have to type the value.

Thank you for that tip. That's easy enough.

Re: Mix down question
Markers are saved in the song (.hdr) file.
