Sleepwalk

Here's a piece I did trying to make a semi-hollow guitar without a tremelo sound like a strat with one.

Nice job, old man! :D

Just found this article about making a humbucker sound like a single-coil, with EQ... http://blog.presonus.com/index.php/2018 ... ersion-eq/

Sounds like you did something similar.

This is an excellent recording. I particularly like this number and I used to play it myself with the band when we had gigs before the pandemic.

I wouldn't want you to give away secrets, but could you indicate what MTS effects you're using on the guitar and what settings?

Many thanks!

Sorry to take so long replying, I haven't checked in here for a while.
I'm using loads of 3rd party effects such as Amplitube 4, Waves Supertap, TRacks EQ and Compressors on the lead track and then on the Master track some more TRacks EQ and Compression and finally Ozone8. That is probably overkill and not much help to you depending on the VSTs you have. You can likely get the same or even better results with less, just using Amplitube or similar Amp simulators, but that's just the stuff I've collected over the years from special offers so I use them. The backing track I downloaded from somewhere on the internet.
Ideally a Strat with a whammy bar though a decent amp with a CopyCat and a touch of reverb should nail it :mrgreen:

@valiant
Your question got me thinking about doing Sleepwalk solely in MTS so here it is for comparison.

Here are the settings for the effect on the lead guitar
