The way this works now wasn't considered good enough for iPad, so the plan was to come up with something better instead. Oddly, nobody ever asks for this, which is why the topic slowly moved to the end of the list.

Takes would be a good one to have on the iPad. It has been interesting to see there are a couple of features the new Logic on iOS has which are missing on iPad MTS but are available on desktop MTS. Takes is one and the ability to save a set of track plugins as a preset is another. Logic takes ‘takes’ a step further with the ability to comp and choose the best bits of each take. Not something I would find myself using but seems to be a popular feature.
