Importing MIDI-how is it done?

Post by J00lz »

Hi,
This looks like just what I've been looking for! Could you explain how midi files are imported to MTS for iPad? I have loads of midi files that I'd like to import and develop...

Hi,

I'm really interested in this too. It would be great to be able to open them without itunes, like with symphony pro.

Currently you have to upload the MIDI files using iTunes.

In MultitrackStudio you can then tap Add Track and import a file. If the file contains multiple instruments it will be split automatically, so there's a track for each instrument.

You can export the MIDI track to a single MIDI file again by the way.

You can drag an audio track to an empty midi track. Not sure about the second question though. HTH
