I sometimes use Multitrack Studio for iPad. And When I use the Grand Staff to enter a piano score it automatically splits the Grand Staff at C3 and places any note above B3 on the Treble staff and any below on the Bass Staff.
Why does Notion and some other iPad scoring apps not behave this way?

I'm wondering why. Thanks for any enlightenment.
Grand Staff Note Entry Question?
Re: Grand Staff Note Entry Question?
MultitrackStudio stores the notes in plain MIDI files. This means there's no way to store per-note information like 'this note is on the upper staff'.
You can adjust the split point of course.
