midi file to general pasteboard

Can this be used for midi files and if it can how would I use it? Thanks

You can copy MIDI data to the general pasteboard. You can then paste it in a MIDI editor for example.

The concept of copying-and-pasting files doesn't exist in iOS. You can't paste a file in your Dropbox or email app for example.
