Midi output to Roland piano (Bluetooth)

Post by Dzp111 »

Hi. Just bought MTS for iPad. I’m able to pair it with my Roland F-140R but nothing plays on piano. I have no problem doing this with Cubasis but I really would like to do it with MTS because of some features in it.

Can anyone help, please.

Did you load "External MIDI Instrument" in the MIDI track's instrument slot (that's the first slot)?

I’m sorry Giel, but I’m not sure what you mean by ‘slot’. I’m tapping everything until I see ‘External Midi’ but I don’t see it.

Ps. I truly appreciate the quick reply.

Just to be a little clearer, I’m downloading and importing MIDI files with tracks already done. I play the piano and would like to be accompanied.

This is what an instrument slot looks like:

The picture is from the desktop version, so the colors are different.

You can press it for a second. A selector menu pops up and you can choose the 'External' option. That's the MIDI Out Device you've selected in Studio-->Devices.
