Core midi out and Linnstrument/ContinuuMini

Hi,
Glad to find this forum. MTS looks like a solid daw
Option on iPad, especially for MPE.
I’m curious before I jump in-
Will MTS allow me to use specific midi channels both
In and out?

Continuumini presets use MPE on channels 2-9
Depending on polyphony, and dsp on device for best sound design.
I can set Linnstrument to match channels from hardware,
But I need to be sure recording and playback of
MPE will occur on correct group of channels. Is this the case?
If so I’m in!
Thanks for the advice and a great looking app option

The MIDI input uses whatever MPE config the source sends.

The external MIDI output doesn't support MPE unfortunately. It uses 'multitimbral expression' instead (see the "MIDI Output Devices" section at https://multitrackstudio.com/version10.php). That's because there are hardly any MPE synthesizers.

Seems like I’m out of luck for now then.
I understand there are few MPE hardware synths
At the moment but the Eagan matrix engine onboard thr Continuumini
as well as the Hydrasynth are a couple that are on my desktop at the moment  :D and I would be over the moon to
Use with MTS.
Reading the multitimbral info it uses channels 12-16
While this may work with the Hydrasynth it wouldn’t
With the Continuumini Eagen Matrix.
Any plans on a full fledged MPE midi out device?
Thanks much

Plan A is that all new hardware will be MIDI 2.0 instead of MPE, so there's no need for MPE output.
