Please explain what you're trying to do exactly. Where do the sysex messages comes from, and where do you expect them to go?

Does the SysEx appear in the track's controller editor?

You can see what the controller editors look like in the desktop manual: https://multitrackstudio.com/controllereditor.php.
On iPad you have to tap the controller name on the left to pick a different one (or SysEx).

I did and couldn’t see anything saying SysEx in the iPad.
I tried another midi file that contains SysEx for Roland sound canvas software and it doesn’t work also.
I can send you these simple midi files if you provide me with an E. Mail address
Many thanks

- In the Controller Editor, tap the current controller name on the left.
- In the new menu, tap All
- Scroll all the way down. At the end there's SysEx and NRPN.

Thanks. The sysexes message appear in the editor, and they are sent out to external MIDI out or AUv3.

What version if MultitrackStudio for iPad do you use? SysEx wasn't always supported.

The SysEx messages definitely are sent.
The Roland sound canvas is a Virtual MIDI App, right? I just checked with the MIDI Wrench app, and it receives the SysEx messages. Perhaps there's some setting the the Roland app?

I don't have a SWAM app. They're AUv3 I think? That should work too. Are there any relevant settings in the app?

You are absolutely right. It was the app. Your software is rock solid. I will shift from Cubasis definitely
