When I click Save as .wav in MIDI track, it doesn't save anything, .wav file is all blank.
MIDI track have only one VST EastWest plugin, but it can't save anything.
Why?
Save as... audio track blank
Re: Save as... audio track blank
Works fine here. Which VST EastWest plugin are you using, is it an instrument or just an effect?
Re: Save as... audio track blank
When you Save as .wav, and you're prompted to choose Mono or Stereo, which option do you choose? I tried saving a midi track as a .wav, and when prompted to choose, I used the default (Mono), and indeed the .wav was empty. When I saved as Stereo, it worked. Not sure why. HTH
Re: Save as... audio track blank
I tried ProDrummer EW.
Neither Stereo or Mono .wav works.
I tried also with MT Power DrumKit 2 VST.
Also doesn't work, .wav file is blank.
It works with DSK Brass VST, I have tested.

Re: Save as... audio track blank
I just tried MT Power Drumkit 2 VST, and it worked both as a mono and stereo track, soooooo, not sure where the issue is..
Re: Save as... audio track blank
What version MTS and Windows do you have?
Re: Save as... audio track blank
A second instance of the MIDI instrument is created for rendering 'save as'. This means the VST instrument must be capable of saving and restoring its settings. This is the same mechanism that saves and restores to/from the song file, so the plugin is ready to go after opening a song. Perhaps some demo limitations are getting in the way of this?

OK,I get it, MT Power DrumKit 2 isn't demo, but you have to click Skip button (Donation screen) to open VST, so probably that's why it doesn't save.
EastWest isn't demo, but I can't see loading instrument when I click Save As, which it does always when opening song, so I guess it's not possible to save because of that.
I guess as a workaround I can record just one track and open it manually,
