I have a nice piano keyboard that I use for all my MIDI input, but it has no mod wheel or knobs. I'm on Windows. Is there any software-based way to get an on-screen mod wheel that I can drag around with the mouse? It's hard to draw accurate mod sweeps in MTStudio with the mouse.
I've looked for a single $20 USB MIDI controller knob — it seems like such a thing should exist but it doesn't. I've also looked into several ideas for a virtual mod wheel (on my phone) that were astonishingly complex and ended up being dead ends. It's hard to believe that this is such a difficult problem, but it seems like no one has ever figured it out, as far as I can tell. Ideas?
On-Screen Mod Wheel
Re: On-Screen Mod Wheel
I found a solution! TouchOSC does exactly what I need.

Re: On-Screen Mod Wheel
The onscreen MIDI keyboard has a slider control that can be assigned to just about any controller.
