Palm muting guitar notes.

Post by uncle808us »

Does anyone have any ideas on how to palm mute certain notes in a guitar rift in multi track studio?
I realize there’s a general midi guitar mute, but that moves all the notes. I just want to mute some singular notes.
As in some apps, you can use articulations on your guitar entries.
Thank you very much for your answers.
PS I wish we did have the ability to bend and add different articulations.

You can set up articulations to switch between MIDI programs.
The MultitrackStudio Instruments don't support this though. In the desktop version you can use a Multi Instrument to work around this, but that's not in the iPad version.

You could use two tracks: one for the muted notes, and one for the other ones.

You can use (per-note) pitchbend controllers for this.
Open the built-in MIDI keyboard and pick the Guitar preset. Use with the MultitrackStudio Instruments. You can bend all 6 strings independently
