Request precise audio input. For matching input.

I would like to formally request some type of precise audio input volume control. Perhaps (type in or slider indicator.)
So I can match the vocal input tracks levels instead of the hit or miss adjustment we have now.
Even the audio adjustments on the recorded tracks have no real indicator as to what the levels are. This in my thoughts should be a bit more precise for a proper mix.
I am hoping for improvement in this area to an already great piece of music software.
