Sidechain compressor?

Post by tmon »

Anyone ever try :Sidekick"? It can be uses as a sidechain compressor...

http://www.twistedlemon.nl/

Or is there a trick to doing this already in MTS that I haven't figured out?

If you have ProPlus, you can do sidechain routing with the MTS Noise Gate, Dynamics and Compressor effects.

Just search the help file for "sidechain" to get the scoop.

I know it says that we can sidechain the noisegate, dynamics and compressor in the features.. but I can't see the sidechain section when I open up the compressor.

I see it in the dynamics, but not in the compressor.

I have MTS 4.1 pro plus.

See page 36 of the .pdf manual for how to use the Sidechain.

OK foundi it!

You see three switch on the bottom right of the compressor: "clean, vintage and vintage warm"

The compressor has to be switched on "clean" and the sidechain section appears!
