Hello,
I' wondering what the numbers stand for in the patch editor's field of loopstart, loopend.
for example, I wish to use a drum loop that I want it to be looped indefinitely just by keeping the note on.
is the loopstart = 1 ? or 0 ?
what about the loopend?
What should I be looking for in my wave editor to give me the number at the wave end?
thanks!
loopstart, loopend

okay nevermind!!!
doh....
sometimes I'm just not experimenting enough.
Allright! In Cool Edit, I need to display the time format in "SAMPLES" this way all the numbers are there...your selection shows your beginning and your end...

??LoopStart: The position in samples at which the loop starts.
??LoopEnd: The position in samples at which the loop ends. It should always be higher than LoopStart.
samples are the units of measure. so for a 44.1 kHz 1 second sound, to make it loop the whole thing you would use this:
LoopStart = 1
LoopEnd = 44100
To just loop the second half:
LoopStart = 22050
LoopEnd = 44100
