Starving Wolf Software is pleased to announce SampleWolf, a
sound information librarian that is used for the E-Mu Systems' Emulator X
Series of instruments. It operates as a stand-alone application.
SampleWolf is FREE, and offers new and improved features beyond the
current E-Mu offering. For instance:
It can be run along-side, or instead of E-Mu's librarian
It offers a pick list of user-defined search region templates
It has extensive print capabilities
It displays/prints much more data about your presets, and much more.
Due to the limited number of test machines available, Starving Wolf
considers this application to be a Beta version. As of 6-8-08 it has
only been tested on Windows XP.
It is available for download at starvingwolf.com. Additional information
is available at the website.
Regards,

"Harpsichord piece".....Thanks for the comments. I have a video recording of Katia and Marielle Lab?que playing this piece of music by J S Bach. Two early pianos, harpsichord and small chamber orchestra. Worryingly, I'm sure I can hear Katia humming and making the odd vocal interjection with the tune as she is playing it.....surely my ears are deceiving me?
Grunts, moans, groans, labored breathing, sighs, even singing along with what they are playing, sometimes in tune with it, sometimes not, all sorts of this sort of thing can be heard in great recordings of great keyboardists. And there are others that don't make a single sound with their mouths, too.
