Gig,

Sounds Excellent!

If You don't mind me asking, what kind of hardware are You using, if the list is not too extensive for You to post.

Great Sound, Excellent Job.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks to you for your kind opinion. It made my day :D Must admit that I enjoyed your blues sliding and kind of country style singing combination, too

Now, here is what your asked me. Without bothering you with too much detailes, I use:

PC ( Core2 Duo 8600, 4 Gig RAM, etc...)
Lexicon Alpha audio interface,
Ibanez GAX-30 electric guitar,
Korg TR-61 Music Workstation Synthesizer,
Microlab active speakers for monitoring,
Korg ToneWorks modelling signal processor...

If you need more info, here I am, blues man 8)

Hi Dave (FlexMartian),

Thank you very much, mate :D I started playing in bands and done recordings way back in the 80's, as Sinbad said in his "Stalker" post, using Revox and Akai tape recorders, a few guitar pedals, etc. Nowadays, the only limit is our creativity. I've been through a lot of styles and have many recorded tunes. But, honestly speaking, I do it for my own pleasure as I am involved in information systems development. Computing is my other passion and career. So, when someone like me post one of his tunes and people give opinions like you did, it feels great.

I see you like The Beatles. I remember their golden days. I listen your tunes, too. I like your voice. It really stands out. Keep on tracking. You are on the right path

Thanks again.

Cheers,

Gig

Thank you Gig.

I also have a one man band setup. I use Midi backing tracks that I make using MutiTrackStudio and a Digitech vocal harmonizer. What's great about MTS is the ability to use soundfonts.
For example I take Beatles songs that have been midi sequenced, strip out the streams that I don't want, run the Bass and Drums through "real" sounding soundfonts and get a good authentic sounding backing track.

Keep making music!
