IAA and Audiobus...

Post by rophone »

Hello,
i tried to connect an app (microTera) on a MIDI-track via IAA,
and to record the sound of this app on an audio-track via audiobus.
I changed the input to Audiobus and the apps are combined with Audiobus,
but i dont get sound in the audio-track...
Is this the right way for recording?

Easier to stay in IAA, sequence track via midi then render to audio afterwards, or play live in midi track and render afterwards. I find IAA personally much more direct in MTS mobile than audiobus.

Really like microTERA and the other VirSyn synths in MTS Mobile...

thankyou!
by the way -
i tried to use SampleTank (free),
but everytime, i must reload it.
This happens with other Apps too.
Is it still a bug or is it because my iPad3 is to old?

Yes there are some instruments that don't load, I wish they did. iMini is another one. I don't think it's the iPad 3, it's the other apps IAA implementation I think.
A fantastic app that does duty above and beyond sample tank is thumb jam...and it flows beautifully in MTS Mobile

Sampletank crashes if it receives any messages on MIDI channels 5..16 via IAA. MultitrackStudio sends messages to all channels whenever transport stops to make sure the app goes silent, so Sampletank crashes all the time.
