Korg nanoKontrol 2. How do you get the LED's to stay on.

Post by iLove80's »

Howdy,

I've purchased a KORG nanoKontrol2 to start, rewind, forward, stop and like to know if anyone has implemented midi feed back to instruct the any button LED stay on/ toggle etc.
In other words, if I press PLAY is MTS able to read a script to send a midi CC not back on the midi channel to light the PLAY led when the transport runs. Is there a script available? I'm all ears be nice to get going. Ableton is able to do this.. Not sure if MTS is script aware?? Correctly if I'm wrong.

There's no scripting, but I think this can be done.

MTS sends out messages which are equal to the messages that come in. So if your 'play' LED MIDI message corresponds to the 'play' button message it should work.

You can try using the 'Start/stop' action (see http://www.multitrackstudio.com/control ... ttings.php) to control the LED. You'd have to send a MIDI message (equal the LED's message) once to program the action.
