How about a little collaborative fun?

Post by venatical »

I wrote this neat little groove, including drums, bass, and rythm guitar. I've tried a few different lead guitar tracks, but just can't seem to fit its feel with the rest of the song.

So I figured, why not let someone else try it? It's a 3 MB MP3 file, which you can just drop into MTS and add your own lead. It'd be so cool to see a few different people's take on a lead guitar for this. (Or any other lead instrument, for that matter.)

I'll include my own version with my lead, eventually. Just wanna hold off to let eveyone's own creative juices flow.

You'll need your own webspace to post your result. If you wanna place the file on your own web page, or some file posting service, or even musician's sites like http://www.artistcollaboration.com, feel free.

All right, without further ado, here's the link to the song. Click here and select the link on the bottom of the page.

That's kewl, I'd love to hear your take on the drums.

If you want a file without drums, lemme know.

I can give you a link to a WMA file if you want more precise timing on the track as well.

If you come up with some lead guitar, that's kewl too.
