Apogee MiC and MTS for iPAD air

I just love my MTS software for my iPAD air, which blows my free GarageBand program out of the water. My colleague bought an Apogee MiC for ipad air/GarageBand and said it is as good as his studio condenser mic for both vocals and acoustic mic-ing. Will it work with MTS in an iPAD air??

That should work with MTS too.
