Multiple Solo function - would this be useful to others?

How about setting up an empty effects return, soloing it, and using the track sends to send to your solo return? It could work.

Sure, 4. That would solve it, but seems to me that the Mute thing is a bit easier. Plus, you don't have to worry about the dummy Return being set up exactly like the real one.

Oh wait.. MTS allows cloning using Ctrl-drag-n-drop, doesn't it?

hmmmm... i'll hafta give that some thought.

Hey Teej. I checked into this whole monitoring for the vocal effect issue when in solo thing. As it turns out, soloing a track doesn't cut off the effects returns with active sends on the channel you solo. Ergo, the problem is moot!!

Yup, you're right, 4. Not sure what happened in my test that made me think that soloing a channel muted the effects send. Either i'm crazy, or.. i'm crazy. :shrug:

I swear that's what happened. Maybe i was still using the demo... I dunno. Anyway, it doesn't happen now.
